Any definition
Through a combination of hearing the Gods and thinking about it, I have derived a highly objective type of love called 'Any'.
Any love is for any person or people. The equation of Any is: ++ and -- to achieve the highest total sum of both. Plus positive and minus negative experience. The highest total sum has priority over everything else. Any arrangement of anything to achieve the highest sum. Here are examples of Any in action: 1 unit of positive to person 1?Or2 units of positive to person 2?Any goes with the 2 units, regardless of who person 2 is. (For 'any' person.) (++) 1 unit of negative to person 1 or 2 units of negative. 1 is less, so any picks this for any person. (--)
2 units of positive to person 1 and 2 (4 total)Or 5 units to person 1 and 0 units to person 2?Any goes with the 5. You may object to this because it is cruel to person 2, but person 1 gets so much. That's why you pick it. (++)
2 units of pain and 3 units of positive to person 1? If it's person 1s only chance at positive?Any says yes to this. Positive is worth so much that enduring pain is worth it if it's less than the positive. 1 unit of negative to person 1, 5 units of positive to person 2. (It's person 2s only chance at getting positive) Or 0 units of negative to person 1, 0 units of positive to person 2. Any goes with 1,5. It's cruel to person 1, but the 5 units to person 2 make it worth it. (Again: if it's the only chance the person has to get positive). 5-1=4. 4 net units of gain. That's why Any picks it. Any always goes with the highest experiential score, regardless of who gets it. Even if the highest total score contains pain.
The computer that formed, in truth, had an Any style love.
The scenarios above are hypothetical. Note that the Gods don't need pain from us for positive. This type of thinking, coupled with a lot of experiential measuring is how charities should operate. It's how we should determine what charities get funding from us.
